Who misses east and west divisions?

Do you think that's really all that important to most of the players? I don't know, maybe it is. But if I had to guess I would say most couldn't care less about that.

What would be more important to players about having divisions?

I'm actually glad the divisions are gone. The new format has everyone playing everyone else equally (besides your one permanent rival). So I would rather NOT play half the conference every year but only play other division rivals once every couple years. Plus GA got away with only playing AL in the SECT while we played them every year. New set up seems more fair to me.

Texas is especially glad for the new format.....

They wouldn’t put Tn, Bama, and UGA in the same division. I think it should have been just OU and Texas in I different divisions and they play annually like UT-Bama. I would like divisions back

Divisions worked well when we had only 12 teams. Started to stink with 14 and would be impossible at 16.

I wish we had divisions.

However, the only teams we’ll be missing are USC Jr and Auburn. They say our SOS is 35th so far.

I wouldn’t want to have to play Texas, A&M, Ole Miss, Missouri, and LSU either. The SEC is brutal no matter how you look at it. Even the schools with the easiest of schedules took their L’s.

The West would be the stronger division this if we did those divisions.

In addition to that, every team in the conference would have at least a few really tough teams on the schedule, unlike we see this year with Texas and Missouri, for instance.

This would keep the rivalry games down to once per year. It would be weird if Tennessee played Alabama or Florida twice because of the championship game or imagine the iron bowl twice.
