Who quit?

It's just idiot blubbering. Like everything now. Everything's a conspiracy.

I personally didn't see any quitting. I know Sampson was hurt, but you could easily see that he was hurt when he was trying to sprint on the sideline to see if he could go back in.

So…let’s get this straight…

We’ve now criticized the whole bench for showing no fire…

And now we’re criticizing a player for showing some fire…

Hmmm, okay.
Seriously? I mean that’s what you took from that?
Hmmm, okay. Dancing is “showing fire” now whilst down 21

We didnt quit. We got our asses handed to us by a deeper, more talented team....

OSU played to their talent level and exploited our weaknesses that have been there all year. Simple as that.

That's what I think too. It reminded me a lot of the Tennessee-Michigan bowl game after the 2001 season. We looked so fast and Michigan looked so slow in that game. In our playoff game against Ohio State, they were so fast and we were the slow team.

Sampson ran the ball with 2minutes left after sitting out the whole game. An all American playing in a cfp game should be the last guy to take himself out of the game if he’s a “leader”.
But...but...but he was "injured". Why do that? We were done for at that point so what was his agenda? Investment posturing?

Did he? To be honest I had already turned the game off.

Kind of makes sense though. Guy wanted one more carry in orange. Game was over. Not like it's gonna impact the score. I can respect that in more ways than one.

My question on the injury is if this was a new one that popped up that night or if this was the same issue from the Vandy game? I believe he did leave that game a little early with some tenderness didn't he?

Not sure if serious but James Pearce did nothing against a terrible oline and neither did any other dlineman, I doubt any of them “refused” to play but they certainly didn’t give maximum effort. Define quitting.
I am serious. They got their asses kicked. That's the jest of it. Anything else you say to help with your feelings is fine, but no need to quote refused as the word means what it means in the context I used. Don't twist it as if it were inapropately used. That's what losers do and that ain't you. I watched Tennessee quit on Florida Hefney's senior year and again playing Wyoming. I watched players not care about losing to Kentucky under Dooley, Hurd quit mid-game on his team, and I have watched the vols not care about Georgia State beating them in their own house.
Getting your ass beat is not quiting. It's not being good enough. Nobody quit.
