i am going to have fun with this one and say the uf defense if worley is not behind center.

fans usually end up figuring out why someone was named the starter and someone was named the backup

So you're saying it would be a stalemate with Worley at QB?

i don't think the tennessee offense is going anywhere despite who's at qb.

i think they will hit a few plays here and there based on what they see on film or that they fool florida a few times.

florida may also do some dumb things and set up tennessee in good field position.

i know it sounds funny, but there is a lot more to playing qb than just the ability to throw the football.

getting a play called, getting everyone on the same page, making sure people are lined up, etc, etc, etc, is not as simple as it may seem. and people have to remember this is a new system.

and despite what people said in the offseason, the notion that this is similar in any way to what tennessee ran under chaney is a load of bull.

it's quite possible that the reason, maybe the sole reason, is that worley knows what the hell he is doing. he just may not do it very well.

but, playing a guy who doesn't know what he is doing and having that guy lead everyone else who also may or may not know what they are doing is dangerous. especially on the road. especially against a legit defense.

I was wondering when you'd show up. I kept hoping to see you jump in and destroy those UO fans talking about their awesome stadium.

Also-the gators are going down this weekend. The ghost of Davey Crocket is gonna start at QB and run a muck.

I fully agree with you but there is something to be said about a 3 year guy who has started games in the pAst or a red shirt freshmen being so close in fall practice. Worley got the nod for being here longer and that all.

What makes you think after Saturday that we can beat Florida?

sooner or later, the risk becomes worth the reward.

do i play the guy who won't make a mistake, but won't make a play?

or

do i play the guy who gives me a chance to make some plays, but i can probably count on to make mistakes?

if the team could carry worley, you'd stick with worley.

but, it's obvious the team is not good enough to make plays without the qb being the playmaker. so, sooner or later, they may decide to live with the mistakes in order to have a chance to make some plays.

what we need is for florida to take tennessee lightly.and come flat.come on gators you are due a let down against tennessee.or tennessee could man up and play with a chip on their shoulder for once.go vols.....

florida may take tennessee lightly (for sake of argument), but there is absolutely no chance florida comes out flat.

Managing the game isn't working for us. We will struggle to run the ball against Florida. If we can't throw, which right now we can't, we will lose badly to one of Florida's worst offenses ever.
