This thread is an embarrassment.

It was Oregon. Oregon >>>>>>>>>>>>> Florida.

Nice work on mailing in the loss to our 1-1 rivals a week before the game even happens though.

Good heavens man, grow some balls. Threads like this are just pathetic.

We basically scored 7 points against Oregon. The 2nd TD was in garbage time when they called off the dogs. Florida's D is better there than Oregon's. It's a legit question.

Is it? Because I feel like there is very little evidence to back that up. I had this argument in another thread. No one could give me a legit reason why I should believe that Florida's defense (who is 1-1, lost to an unranked team, and only returned a few starters from last year) is a great defense.

IMO our fans are severely underestimating Oregon's defense as well. Again, there's not enough evidence this early into the season to say if they have a really good defense, but they've allowed as many points in 3 games as Florida has in 2.

Florida's defense is young and unproven. They've played 2 games. Quit being scared.

I think Florida is going to win, but I don't see us giving up a lot of turnovers. We have plenty of problems as a team but penalties and turnovers haven't been among them. The one thing that might change things, though, is that CBJ is wanting Worley to get over his timidity. He has been waiting until he is sure the receiver is open before throwing the ball. (That's the reason he's thrown behind so many receivers). If he anticipates and throws quicker he might throw more interceptions.

i am going to have fun with this one and say the uf defense if worley is not behind center.

fans usually end up figuring out why someone was named the starter and someone was named the backup

I agree. I voted UT's offense, assuming Worley is QB most of the time. We have not been prone to turnovers so far this year (knocking on wood as I type).

Yes. It is. Florida has given up two 3rd down conversions all year. Anyone not wearing orange glasses knows they are the best defense in the country. Acknowledging that and that we will struggle severely to score Saturday has nothing to do with being scared.

fla's D gave up 2 easy TDs to miami early--their DBs don't look that good. Hopefully worley can light up their secondary with some easy points early.
