Who transfers, if anyone

I am a loyal fan today and will stay that way, however, Holly has bought a lot of negativity upon herself. She is not managing the talent, she needs to rethink her offense, she is constantly out coached, recruiting is in a downward spiral, etc. Doesn't she and the staff review the videos and see how Russell is standing around watching smaller members of the team trying to rebound? That is only an example of how individual players are not coached, or not using what they have been taught.

She has done a lot for the Lady Vol program but now she is knee deep in negative territory. No matter how hard we try to throw individual players under the bus Holly is the HC.

It is not a shame to give anything a try, however when it appears that you are hurting more then helping, step back re-evaluate and honestly look at yourself. If this program sinks lower than it is now, and that is very possible, Holly's positive stamps on this program will be outweighed by her negative impact. If she hangs around just for the money, and continues to produce bad results, her rep will be permanently damaged. Again if she loves and respects the Lady Vols, as she claims, she will do the right thing. Fans and the University of Tennessee deserves better than what Holly is delivering.

Good post.In the end ,do you think that Holly will indeed resign for the good of the program ?

This scenario very well be possible.Diamond may just transfer to a Division II or III school and play one year rior to entering te draft.

I thought about her also going DII or DIII which is a possibility to get her degree because she doesn't need the money like Epiphany Prince and her family did, I just think the chance to show what she can do overseas against pros would be something she wouldn't pass up.

Could be.One thing for sure ,a transfer somewhere is a distinct possibility since she is not appreciated either by the coaching staff or a lot of the fanbase.

Yup! I think at this point Holly has to start her and play her a lot of minutes if she wants to right the ship (don't want to say it is too late but I think it is)

You are asking the impossible.... What kind of competitor doesn't think they can get it done? This needs to be the AD's call and he needs to evaluate things and make the move. It's not her that is causing the over the top negative attacks.... Its the fans that expect everything to be roses, daisies, and butterflies.... We tend to eat our own.... From Johnny who came back to tennessee after building a national champion to fulmer who won a national championship here to Pat when it was becoming obvious she wasn't quite on the level of geno any more to now holly who is failing a lady vols coach.... We need to respect these great vols while also wanting what's best for the program.

So what do you think she would do? Because it's clear it will be between her and Holly and if Holly returns she will more than likely not

She may turn pro but there is no way a player of her stature would finish out her career playing that level of competition

Alexa Middleton- MTSU
MeMe Jackson- MTSU
Te'a Cooper- I have no idea
Jamie Nared- Oregon State
Diamond Deshields- Pro ball overseas
Jasmine Jones- gives up basketball(Already has her degree)
Kortney Dunbar- Transfers to somewhere in the midwest

All just a guess by the way

All will stay with the Possible exception of Diamond. Diamond, and her father, have their her own agenda and goals.

Jasmine's UT career is over because of multiple concussions.

Looks to me like our "good" coaches rode Pat's coat tails a little too closely and got fat, old, and lazy.

What has Lockwood brought to the team in 10 years? Likewise for Kyra and Jolette?

It isn't just Holly that ruined the program.

PS played a huge role in the collapse of the program because she hand picked HW.

Pat was lauded for her leadership qualities but she should have known more than anyone that "good indians" don't necessarily make the best chiefs. She did her a disservice but not telling her that if you want this job you need to go somewhere else first and prove your capabilities.

I don't expect anyone to leave except maybe Jackson or Jones for health reasons. Graves and Moore graduate and no replacement in sight.
So we go into the season with the following roster:

Nared
Dunbar
Russell
Reynolds
Carter
Deshields
Cooper
Jackson
Middleton

You would think Holly would recognize that she is not a good coach and resign. It is very evident and if she does not resign, that is selfish on her part.It is all about Holly in her mind. She would rather ruin the whole program as to do what is in the school best interest. Phillip Fulmer took the football team on a ride. He should have been fired 2005 and took to 2008. It took the fans to get him fired. Some to this day some think he was a good coach. D. Cutcliff and Chavis made him a winner in early years. His coaching ability showed up as the dumb coaches from our competitors got fired and smarter coaching came in, plus Cutcliff left for another job. I wonder why no one hired Fulmer. He looked and looked for a coaching job, but others recognized he was not very good, all except our Athletic Director at that time. It takes a lot of guts to fire a coach and it should not wait on fans to get that coach fired. It is the Athletic Director responsibility. So, he needs to man up and fire Holly. Mr. Hart do not ruin the whole Lady Vols tradition due to not manning up. It will be on your shoulders for years to come. Seven McDonald's all Americans !!!! think!!! Also up thru last year the players were still fundamentals that Pat instilled in them and not truly Holly's players. I hope the fans are not the ones that has to do your job.
