Nebraska Tom Osborne their ego overrun their brain. They’re not in the same revenue universe as Texas. Nobody cares about Johnny Rodgers & Thanksgiving Day 1971. They killed all their natural rivalries and Big10 doesn’t give a crap about them cause Neb has no where to go. Scott Frost should keep his mouth shut. This is way above his pay grade.
Osborne was was a very good football coach (when he got older) $$$. Sucked as a congressman and sucked as an AD.

Johnny Rodgers was the second best punt returners in CF history behind Joe Washington.

One thing I’ll say for A&M is that they don’t need Texas. And they got into a more prestigious and more stable conference. The Big 12 was really close to dissolving. They do have a budding rivalry with LSU I
and one already with Arkansas. A&M has always been a sleeping giant. One of these days it’s gonna breakthrough.

I may be bias but I sided with A&M and the other schools that went to war with Texas a decade ago.
I respect your opinion but when was A&M better than 3rd in their conference without cheating? They were lucky to be the 5th best team in the BIG XII South.

I didn’t follow them extensively but they’ve been similar to Tennessee with the fact that both schools have recycled multiple coaches and made bad hires. I’d attribute that to poor leadership.

We are the first BCS champs.

97 was still old style format.

And the 97 game, Spurrier was complaining about something and preparing for Bowden.

The 96 game (95 season) was when Frazier ran wild and Florida forgot how to tackle.

Uh, we just beat them in a bowl a few years ago

Not enough.

My best friends dad called me a Nebraska fan for years after that '98 game. It burned.

After UGA, Florida, UK and K-State, they are my least favorite team.

Maybe it’s just me but beating Nebraska a few years ago in the bowl game was awesome. Even though they, like Tennessee are shadows of their traditional selves. It still seemed like a big deal to beat Nebraska. I’ve heared fans of other programs say the same of beating Tennessee. It still feels
like a big deal to other fans of a lot of other programs.

Nebraska is not going to get a better deal than they have now with BiG10. Its a much better conf than Big 12, money wise. Plus the get to play on the weaker division. Should be a 2 horse raise between them and Wisconsin every year, with Iowa thrown in every couple of years.

Tell me about Nebraska

Since joining the Big Ten, Nebraska is 3-6 against Iowa with 5 straight losses including one by 30 and one by 42

That doesn't sound very competitive.

Against the other two:

* 5-4 against Northwestern
* 4-3 against Purdue

So that's really their appropriate weight class. It's mostly a bloodbath otherwise-- 62-3 against Ohio State, 56-10 against Michigan
