Who was actually at the game?

I tuned in at 12:30 and he hasn't since then. I'm waiting for 3pm on 680 to hear if Buck Belue is calling in sick today.

Sounds like everyone had a varied exp. in Athens. Overall, the fans that KD and I encountered were pretty cool. We parked in a free garage and they never gave us any trouble. During the game only one issue with a die hard drunk fan, but all the Ga fans around us were cool. After the blocked punt they looked like someone hit them in the gut-hard. And the Joe T. fumble was the real kick in the pants. Singing rocky top until my voice went was AWESOME. And the best was one of the Ga. girls said she was so sick of hearing that song, so they sang it again on the way to Broad St.-God love our fans. The worst part about the trip was the cab issue in Athens. They drove right past everybody including Bulldog fans. I have no idea what that was about.

I was at the game. Not sure what section (maybe 301) but was in the upper deck student section on the 45 yard line.

I went with a bunch of Dawg fans, and tailgated with them all day, and have arrived to the following conclusions:

1. There is no class in Athens. -- None whatsoever.

2. Not as loud as Neyland. When they ran back the KO Return in second half -- that was the peak. Loud.. but no Neyland.

That is all.

I attribute most of it though to a late kickoff.

Well stated -- probably the cause of the worst gameday problems.

Recipe for Disaster:

12 hours to tailgate
750 mL Bourbon
24 cold beers
3 am trip to Taco Bell the night before
2 recent winning streaks by opposing schools
1 annoying dog bark
463 rounds of Rocky Top

Stir above ingredients in a tiny crowded town in the middle of nowhere until near boiling, add in a dash of early home lead, and finish with a blazing finish by the visitors.

I was in sec. 120 behind the goal posts. UGA fans were cursing me as I hit the can at halftime. One guy cupped his hands around his mouth and just started yelling "TENNESSEE SUUUUUUCKS" over and over and over from 5 feet away. Class act.

That is what Buckeye fans are like in 6th grade.

By the time they are adults at the games, they have regressed to spitting, throwing beer bottles, and shouting obsenities at wifes and teenagers.
