Who will be coach #35 at Ole Miss?

There is no way that OM UK and VU can all be good at the same time. I don't think James Franklin is that good of a coach but if UK or OM steal him it would nip Vandy's preceived up swing in the bud.

Looks like they are going with Kirby. I think Freeze would've been their best choice. He's a well known person around the Mid-South and an Ole Miss alum.

I've heard it is down to Fedora (Southern Miss), Freeze, and Smart.

I don't get why this school is a perennial loser.

+Great campus
+Great weather
+Great fans (given how bad they usually are)
+Great gameday atmosphere
+Not a bad academic school
+The hottest girls on planet Earth

I'm not saying they're a school who can be an annual title contender, but they are ALWAYS beyond mediocre. I can see why Mississippi State and Kentucky are always average, but Ole Miss should definitely be better than they usually are.

It's tough, but recruiting is one major thing that kills us. MS has good HS football recruits, but when you compete against in-state MSU, USM, & on top of that, Alabama, Auburn & LSU that come in with offers, it is hard to land them.

Nutt couldn't recruit at all (he was lazy), especially at QB.
