Who will be Florida's new football coach if Muschamp gets fired after this season?

That would be absolutely epic.

Not for Florida. I don't think he'd make a great college coach.

But for me and my enjoyment of this message board.

Gruden coaching UF might make the VolNation servers melt.

Edit: Nice work on your coaching search post GV

Okay Florida fans, I took the liberty of putting together some helpful advice for the remainder of your season and the aftermath. Some are already in progress, so this is helpful for the future...

Are you sure you've only been here less than two years??

Anyway, perfect post, except that you left out:
- Stalking local private schools for pre-enrollment visits by Mom
- Tracking the color of neckties worn in public.

Go Vols!

PS: This was perfect: "Find each and every way to link said candidate into your university in a collegiate version of "Six degrees of Kevin Bacon."

It's bound to be Mullen if he does well this year because of UF ties and SEC experience. Then you will kick yourselves when Ruffin goes somewhere bigger and continues a track record of kicking ass. It's a phenomenon referred to as sh!thaad. (Should have interviewed the hungry African American dude)

Ask us how we know

He was a head coach for 11 seasons in the NFL. He won his division 5 times and won a Super Bowl. The guy can coach.

He won a little over 50% of his games. His SB win was against the team in which he just left and pretty much knew everything about them. He has Dungy to thank for his defense in Tampa. When his teams weren't loaded with talent, he underperformed. He is an average coach at best. I for one never wanted him at UT.

Wasn't Hart saying the same sort of things about Dools before he got canned?

Muschamp is a walking, talking brain fart. My dream scenario as a UT fan is we whip UF in 2 weeks then they win out, prompting the AD to let him keep his job another season. Another season for him to Dooleyize UF.

The only way that could turn out better is if they fired him and hire Double D. That would be amazing.

Dooley was the most incompetent coach in college football history. Muschamp, as much as I think he sucks as a coach, is ten times better than Dooley was.

Damnit. I hoped he'd last longer and do more damage. We may only have one last chance to beat him.
