Jesus! All these Martin lovers acting like we're a freakin 5 seed or something! Yea we made the tournament, but barely! Enjoy it because as long as Martin's our coach, this is the closest we'll come to making the tourney.I'm not a Pearl lover, just want a good basketball coach.All these people on here bashing Pearl with their holier than tho attitudes is ridiculous. I guess your all perfect huh.Please.Pearl will turn Auburn around and get them to the tournament consistently. And not a freakin play in game either.Did Pearl make mistakes, of course.Does he deserve to pay for it the rest of his life? No.I just hope Hart will be willing to pony up some money next year for a proven winner.

Did we make the tourney? I thought it was a play in game. Crap, no more Bruce. But it is what it is. More mediocrity. Bruce made the tourney without these "play in" games.

We played Auburn twice this season. That also means that - aside from Vanderbilt, who is always a home and home matchup - Auburn (and the three other teams UT played twice) rotate off the home and home circuit for three more/new SEC teams.

We play Auburn only once this next year.

They also won't announce a new basketball schedule for the conference until around August.

No contest Pearl waiting to see if we made the dance and see if the job was open, you cant blame him for taking the job, now if he went to Kentucky then we would march to Kentucky and take over the state.:)

If you really believe this I really don't know what to think . Cuonzo had one returning starter in Cam Tatum , and the rest of the team had little to no game experience . Our two best recruits bolted on us and we couldn't replace them with the NCAA being all over us . Cuonzo was left in a terrible postion , if you don't want to acknowledge that you are either stubborn or know nothing about college basketball

Please explain. This is the third year of the new conference scheduling set up so I don't know if scheduling reverts back to following that of the home and home, follows based on that of the last game of the rotating home and home, etc.

Bruce will get a standing O from intelligent fans, because we know he took this program to unprecedented heights. Not only on the court but off. He's personally responsible for the new practice facility, Thompson Boiling renovation, making UT relevant in college BB talk around the country, energizing the fan base like never before...the list goes on and on...As for Kiffin, he will only get cheered by the VN insiders who said he was a great hire to begin with. The end.

Next years schedule has been reported by Ben Fredrickson, based on the 3 year rotating schedule it can be figured out which he apparently took the time to do.

I think (IMO, JMO) that the success of a coach's teams on the court will trump any disgruntled fan-driven social media activity.

I think the infamous petition you reference did not request our coach be replaced. It said, IF he was not here would you support re-hiring BP.

I don't think I was arguing that it for certain wouldn't be.

I was just pointing out that this is the first year in this new setup that we'll have a schedule where teams that were previously one-gamers are returning back to being one-gamers after getting their home and home year.


There had not exactly been a past schedule / schedule history that showed what happened/happens there.

I'm not sure what you're saying, all I'm saying is our SEC schedule for next season is known, and it includes auburn coming to TBA.

No not at all.

I didn't take the time to do it lol. You would have to look at schedules for multiple SEC teams I think, he took the time to do that, but heck that's what he's paid to do.

cant be true BTO said there will be a banner hanging in TBA that says 2014 tourney. but its called a play in game for a reason. you win then you are in the tourney. it depends on how a person spins it.
