"I knew playing for coach Smith was the best thing for me," Johnson said. "He came from Georgia and I'm from Georgia. He was a great athlete and I'm a great athlete. I want to follow in his footsteps and who knows, maybe one day I'll play for the Atlanta Falcons too."
Johnson will be in the stands with his family on Saturday afternoon as an unofficial visitor when the Vols lock it up with the Florida Gators, one of the programs he chose Tennessee over. He's excited to see what he hopes will be a Tennessee upset win.
"I want to see some lock down defense," Johnson said. "I love some big hits. It would be great to see Tennessee get a big win against Florida."
