To win this game we need some of our guys to make improbable plays. An off balanced throw between defenders while under duress, a one handed catch while getting mugged, a run that turns a 2 yard loss into a big gain, shedding a block/hold to make a sack, forcing a fumble instead of giving up a first down, making an interception instead of allowing a 40 yard gain….

To beat teams you aren’t supposed to beat, you have to make plays you aren’t supposed to make. Who makes plays today?

I’m hoping a couple of the young guys on defense surprise today and we see James Pearce in the backfield a good bit. On offense Joe will need to be mobile and roll out a bunch. Sampson and Wright need big games. On special teams, fake punt maybe?

It’s kind of hard to imagine many guys making plays isn’t it? We just don’t have many playmakers. Pearce, Samson, and Williams have shown the ability to make plays consistently. That’s about it imo. Squirrel has made a great catch this year and Keyton made a great catch last year but right now that seems likely to be the highlight of his career. If there is a playmaker in our secondary, today would be a good time to prove it. Can Warren or Castles do something incredible? Beasley? Milton? Hopefully these guys play balls out.

Who makes the plays? Who knows? We are really inconsistent. The pass rush has been MIA it seems like since Bama. Maybe they show up. I would LOVE to say Milton will have a big game but he just doesn’t have it in him. Our RBs? I have a bad feeling UGA is gonna shut the run game down and force Joe to beat them through the air.

I doubt Williams will have many opportunities.

The biggest question is, will anyone on the left side of our defense be able to stop any of the sweeps , slants, or screens? I will bet that 70 % of Georgia's play go to our left side of our defense. The second important question is, will our QB find second or third receivers before he fires the ball into double coverage? If we can play fairly clean on these two issues, we have a decent chance to win the game.

Pearce and Sampson are always gonna be my picks to click. Both those guys look to have a different gear.

Joe simply doesn't have it in him to put the team on his back in a big game. Hope he proves me wrong.
