I flip flop on it. I hope it is an intense game though. The more angry Muschamp gets, the more he hurts Florida's program. Then again if Richt loses anymore they have the money to bring in a big name and hurt our recruiting. I am not sure where I stand on this one. GO VOLS!!

So some of you guys are pulling for UGA because it will mean that CMR will hang around for a few more years. I swear I don't understand that at all.

I'm pulling for uga so they keep richt a long time---he's not that good of a coach and dooley will own him over the next 10 years.

I have 2 favorite teams, my beloved VOLS and whoever is playn the Gators! And not to be that guy but, i believe that the cocks have the lead due to the head to head competition. Go bull puppies!

Other than the jerk UGA fans I've run into here... I have no particular problem with the Dawgs. I have a lot of friends who are Dawg fans and will generally pull for them when it has no chance of hurting UT.

OTOH, I hate UF worse than burning, bleeding hemaroids. I despise them worse than any other sports team.

So there's a bit of a double whammy here. I honestly think a new coach at UGA right now would hurt UT. +1 for UGA. I hate UF +2 for UGA.

Richt is stale. I like him but he's old news. At least temporarily, a new coach would bring new excitement.... and they might even be a better coach. On top of that, Richt's system is known. UT coaches know how to beat it when they have the players. There aren't going to be alot of surprises.

The Dooley name still means something in GA. While coaches, players, parents, et al might prefer their kids going to UGA.... The son of Vince thing might just temper their opposition to them going to UT... and recruiting the state of GA is VITAL for any successful coach at UT. UT MUST become at least the second choice for GA players like Oklahoma is for Texas players.

I hate Florida more.. for sure. Muschamp is a chuck. Richt is a class act. I don't hate rooting for Georgia as much after we play them.

Can't disagree with your comments about CMR but he has beaten up on CDD twice already.

When they have the players? All teams go through this problem.

As far as recruiting goes, just look at the track record. CDD has not pulled the top recruits in the state of GA. Bama, the Barn, FSU, the Chickens, heck even Clemson have been tougher opponents against CMR the last couple of years. I like Dooley but he has alot of work to do in this state.

For the record, I too hope Dooley stays around for a long time.

I hope you both lose, but if I have to pull for one it'd be UGA. I actually have an ounce of respect for Richt because he's a good man....even if does coach the leg-humpers.

I have grown to despise Florida after they cheated deliberately by holding our receivers and then seeing muschamp raise such a hissy fit over being called for holding. Then he admitted after the game that they coached them to hold.

I have never hated a SEC team but I do now hate florida and I hope they never win a game again.

I have always respected CMR I think he is a classy guy and despite what people say he has a good record in GA. his biggest fault is I think he is too easy going with his players.

I hope GA beats Florida so we can see their worthless crybaby coach meltdown again on national TV.

Since GA and FL can't both lose, a tie would be nice. I'm hoping Richt and Muschamp stay on board long enough for Dooley to make a habit of beating them the way that everyone else made a habit of beating Fulmer.

With all due respect to the VolNation board overall, I don't see how you can make this observation. At least not yet. I know that you want it to be true but that doesn't mean that it will be. CMR's resume includes 2 SEC Championships (2002, 2005) and 3 SEC Eastern Division Titles (2002–2003, 2005). Not to mention his work as a DC at FSU. Compare that to Dooley's resume. I like Dooley and think he'll eventually be a pretty good HC. But I see no evidence that Dooley will own Richt over the next 10 years. Maybe you have background info about CDD that I don't have. If you do, I'd be open to hearing it and changing my opinion. CMR has had a couple of down seasons. But I still think he's a good man and a good coach.

Since I was born and raised in South GA, I'm extremely embarassed that a fellow South Georgian uses the term "Gator". I do hope he's either 12 or has never set foot on the campus of UT or any other college in the Southeast.

I hope you uga wins... I never root for fl... plus met some really cool and tasteful fans of ugas at UT/uga game.
