I agree . . . It was just a bunch of stump speeches.

I don't know why FNC does those text/phone polls. The results are so unscientific that it's embarrassing.

I thought it was basically a tie with a slight edge to Obama, but I thought that last time and apparently Obama crushed in the instant polls and subsequent polls. Obama connected better with voters and that is generally how the winner is determined. McCain had a great closing statement. Brokaw was awful.

Anyone notice McCain refuse to shake Obama's hand at the end? I didn't see it, but my wife swears it happened.

I didn't see that happen at all. At the end of the debate they both sort of went in opposite directions before meeting at the side a few minutes later. In fact, I think McCain went over and put his hand on Obama's shoulder and acknowledged him.

Glad I missed the whole thing. Can we just vote already? Tell the undecideds to flip a coin and let's move on.

Undecideds in TV focus groups playing with those approve/disapprove dials has become the modern version of people going to the fair and swinging the sledgehammer to ring the bell.

It reminds me of that Simpsons where they had the kids in the Itchy and Scratchy focus group
