Who Would Be Obamas Vice President

there's always John Kerry. Sure he wants to be President, but being VP has to be more appealing than being the junior senator from Massachusetts and having to kiss Ted Kennedy's rear end.

I would come closer to voting for him if he went with a moderate liberal(I know it is an oxymoron lol) like Leiberman(sp)

I doubt it would be Edwards, he and Hillary have been playing nice with each other behind the scenes at the debates. Joining Hillary in going after Barack.

As far as Gore, he is the same lightening rod that Hillary is. He has many negatives as positives. His real strong hold is the hollywood crowd, and the enviromental crowd. Big money in both, but not big pull with middle America.

I actually think this would be a great choice for him, seeing how Barack is all about change. Joe Leiberman went from Rep. and switched to Dem., no bigger example of change than that.

Yikes, your right of course. Independent to Dem, funny though, as an Independent he was always considered to be a Dem, and as a Dem he considered too Republican. Gotta love politics. All that being said, I still think he would be a decent choice as a VP.

I think you're wrong again. :p

He was a democrat from Connecticut. Then, when he lost the primary in Connecticut, he ran as an independent to beat the dem who was nominated instead of him. The main reason behind his primary loss was his support of the war.

Ok, let me fall on the proverbial sword here, this is what I get for sliding over to the dark side, and talking about Dems :birgits_giggle:

Colin Powell would be a great choice for Obama, but I still think Bill might broker an Obama-Hillary ticket and unite that party.
