Based on last years results, I would be shocked if we have 2 #1 seeds in the Elite Eight.
Traditionally, 3 of the 4 (1 seeds) generally make it to the 8.

UCONN doesn’t scare me. They are talented but I think we can out play them. Arizona hasn’t faced defensive pressure like us so I’m not scared of them.

I want to avoid Houston and Purdue. Both are bad matchups against us.

I would love to play Kansas again. Avoid UCONN/Especially Houston, they are full gown men with NBA Bodies. Want no part of a grind out game with them.

I would be too happy to be in the elite 8 to be overly concerned with the oponent. At that stage you expect to play someone really good.

But if I were to be mildly annoyed at any draw, it would be at the prospect of having to play a #1 seed with a clear home court advantage. Playing UCONN in Boston would be tough. Houston in Dallas would be challenging too.

I think Houston is the only team that I would have any hesitation about. Their defense is suspect and if the officials don’t whistle them and let them get hot, they could do that weird momentum run that a&m did to us,

UConn is good. Defending champs, but I legit think we’ve played better competition and will emerge stronger because of it. Newton is a solid player but I think Knecht is the guy that will be the difference maker. Their bigs will get shoved around by Aidoo and Awaka. I think Mashack or JJJ could shut down newton.

Purdue is one dimensional. I think Loyer won’t play the game of his life against us again. Edey is just big. He’s not really a superb player he’s just like an ogre playing with little people.

If we play our game none of the other teams will be able to play. I wouldn’t mind playing Kansas and bouncing Dickinson in the elite 8 for payback for what he did to us at Michigan.
