A great defense makes up for a lot of issues.
Take the Dawgs
Neither team looked great in their season opener. Georgia looked awful offensively as has been discussed, but Auburn's game was closer than it appeared because Kentucky was done in by a fumble and silly fake punt decision. It was a 2-point ballgame going into the fourth quarter.
I agree with @Dudleys87 that I don't see it being relatively easy for Georgia - their offense was totally out of sync for 2.5 quarters against a bad Arky defense, and Auburn's defense is pretty good. I don't necessarily trust Bo against Georgia's defense either.
Given how poorly they started against Arky I doubt they'll come out sleepwalking (they've done that already, so it'll probably get nipped in the bud) but they still might have a difficult time executing offensively. Auburn's defense is legit and has been for many years under Kevin Steele.Bo can put a game together and then have a pretty bad game. I dont really believe he is a guy who can string multiple games together but he can do it once. The last thing Georgia needs to do for Kirby sake is to come out sleep walking. If they do that it could very easily be 21-6 before the half. We all might not like Ole Gus but he didnt get where he is by mistake he seems to find his football mind in games he needs win.
Still sticking to my prediction of Tigers with a late FG to win it.

My excitement level for this game depends entirely on our game. If we win I will thoroughly enjoy college football the rest of the day capped by the Georgia/Auburn game. If we lose I will begrudgingly watch it but definitely will not be happy about it lol
