Ummm... Get your drink on? Hey, hey, hey!

If there is one thing that is not difficult, it is wasting six hours on gameday in Athens, GA.

If nothing else, you can go to the Ritz and check out the Big Orange Tailgate Tour.

I recommend you eat lunch at Achim's K-Bob. It's on broad right across from East-West Bistro. Best sammich in Christendom.

haha alrite thanks for all the information, this is my first trip to Athens so ima need all this stuff, ill probably have to pick up map of Athens wen i get there friday nite so i can find all these places! anyone else have any recommendations?

the Ritz and Achim's K-Bob are well within walking distance of the stadium correct, i think ill just print out a map from the link you gave me and use that as a guide, as well as some notes where to eat and what decks are the best.

Bigdaddy, myself, and another will be heading down Friday PM. We couldn't get a place in Athens, so I think we're staying about 30 miles this side. We'll be over early Saturday morning to set up shop. Anyone interested in joining forces (or with "ins" on tickets to the game), let us know.

Everything in downtown Athens is within walking distance of the stadium. Its a pretty well put together college town... for a place that has bulldog sculptures everywhere.

I took a tour of UGA my senior year in HS while looking for schools. (Supposed to have a good broadcasting school)
It is a nice college town (it's actually where they filmed the movie Road Trip). However they didn't sell it to me very well. The tour guide was this hyper perky cheerleader type who spent the entire trip telling us about their victory bell and how they rang it ALL NIGHT LONG!!! when they finally beat UT in 2000!!! Woooooo!!!! Yeah, it was like that for 2 hours.

It took all night to knock the rust out of it.
