Refs should definitely put a stop to it. But, in Buzz’s defense, I don’t think he is trying to get some advantage, he is just totally into the game. Did the same at VT. He also would have to change shirts at halftime because he would be completely soaked as if he had played. Buzz does some good things in the community and is a pretty good guy.

It doesn’t matter into the game he is. Any coach running on the floor should get a tech. And he went way out on the floor. He knows that is legal. I bet if he dies it tomorrow a tech will be coming, he could have injured a player or got his own rear ran over. Horrible no call anyway you slice it! GBO

I am just providing some context about Buzz. I am not defending coaches on the court - I hate it and agree it deserves a T.

However, I’ve watched him coach a lot of games including games against legends like K, Roy, and Boeheim who you would think could say something to the refs but I don’t think I ever recall a technical. Maybe Barnes can make the case,

From my perspective, Buzz got carried away in the excitement of the moment and ran onto the floor calling the TO. He deserved a technical and that’s 100% on the officials for not making the proper call. It doesn’t make Buzz a bad person or coach. He has a long track record of being a pretty solid coach and person. He doesn’t act an idiot constantly crying to the officials like Muss or Oates. If I were an A&M fan, I’d be happy having him as our coach

If Tennessee would go up 15 or 20 on this middle of the conference A&M team, Buzz wouldn't have any reason to get out of his seat, let alone actually going out on the court,

Maybe they can put a 3 foot leash on him, connected to his seat, to keep him off the floor at the TB Grocery store
