Williamson is probably in wait & see mode.

Miller I think realized UT offering opened some doors to other schools closer to home that hadn’t been opened and wanted to explore all options.
No. Both were told by UT to hold off on signing. It’s been reported.

Kyree, I like kids game

370 lbs even at 6’4” is too much. Kid is a project that won’t see the field until his third or fourth year in the program. Ordinarily that isn’t a problem for OL but I would prefer someone that can come in sooner.

Should mark Young off the list and I believe it was reports by VQ that the staff isn’t likely to pursue Clowney. Washington, Hardy, and Beckwith are the most logical 3.

I also repeated that bit about Clowney from Price, but after hearing some other perspectives, I think Price may be off base here.

I would expect to see interest from us.

Putting him thru a redshirt and 2 off seasons of S&C would create a monster. We are set at O line for next year if Kennedy gets waiver and Trey stays. Having Miller with his frame for 2 off seasons and 1 full season to do nothing but hit the gym would mean he’s in peak shape for the start of 2021 season.

I think they are going to put the full court press on Clowney for two reasons. One he appears to be a solid get to fill one of the last few spots. Maybe even bigger than that is they want to establish a pipeline at St Francis Academy. We have offered a large amount of kids at that school. The school by all indications is very loyal to the ones who take care of their players. So not only could you possibly get a very good player in Clowney but it would crack the door even further for us to get in on future players at an absolute power house program. Having already inked one St Francis player this year in Dominic Bailey if we could get another one then who knows what that does for us going forward.

What makes people so sure he would not be an anchor at nose tackle? Looks like another Terrence Cody to me.

Yep, they will definitely pursue Clowney. Washington, Hardy, and Beckwith are the ideal other 3. There will be some new names pop up in case we don't close with those 4. January visitors should be interesting.
