Who's next to commit? (1/9/15 Edition)

I know this is not allowed here. But, Pat Allen does not strike me as a dominant OT that is going to come in and lock down a spot after fall camp to me. Did not appear that impressive in his highlights to me. I know he's rated 4* at a position of desperate need, but my untrained eye just does not see it. Good size tho. It appears to me that by the time he's SEC ready, we'll have solved our OT issues. Depth on the OL notwithstanding.
But, if Butch thinks so, then I think so.

Are we sure UGA did not cool on the kid just like we did with a lot of our "defectors" that we upgraded from over the past 3 months? It's not like UGA is having a problem filling spots this year. Too lazy to look in the RF for the reason he's looking around.

Almost nobody thinks that starting any FR ol is a good idea. The vast majority understands that good OL recruiting is a long term investment. The reason we are in the mess we are in now,and having to use kids before they are ready, is due to the absolute dearth of OL recruits from the 11 and 12 classes. We need at least one more good LT prospect. It is kinda like QB recruiting to me. Get as many as you can, so you have a better chance of finding the right guy at LT. That is what everyone here is really fretting about...Left Tackle.

Grayshirt Bruce and or Zach Stewart. Take two tackles if Boulware gets the boot (St. Louis and Allen of course) but only take one if Boulware sticks. And I'm rocking with Newsome over Love (true slot) or both if it could work somehow. Newsome would be a great compliment to PW in the coming years.

No Jason Lewis tho.. 1) Creamer developing 2) Him wanting to play RB (not better than the two we have committed now). I think everyone would agree he's behind St. Louis, Allen, Newsome, & Love. Maybe even Sapp also

I'm still working on how to pronounce Sheriron:

Sherry-Ron?
Sure-Iron?
She-rye-ron?
Da-do-ron-ron?

I give up. :mf_surrender:

Good times ahead, just think how it will be when we win 10 games every year again.

It's going to be great, I just hope that we don't ever take it for granted like we did back then. To be great it takes us all, just like we were in Jacksonville. We'll win and along the way we'll lose one or two, but we gotta hang in there and support our team.

I have a question...can Butch come out and say...We will have 3 more recruits...2 OL and a RB....without getting into trouble....or is that allowed.....as long he does not say any names

Sure, at the risk of ending up looking like an idiot in the event it doesn't pan out that way. Plus, I'm sure Newsome, Sapp, etc. would probably be less inclined to visit..

Not me, hes only behind allen on my board. I like his potential at multiple positions. Heck of an athlete and #75 overall player on 247 so the stargazer in me likes that aspect as well. Plus im not huge on undersized guys like newsome or love. I like the bruisers. Bussey and kamara have plenty of speed for the speed back role

We don't need him to lock down the LT spot out of fall camp. We need him to be ready to take over when Blair graduates.

Remember that thread a while back saying that this class would be awful, and that Butch can only recruit legacies and in-state guys? It's been too long since we've rubbed it in that guys face. Someone wanna do a courtesy bump?
