I actually think we have some surprise losses on nsd. So much change and instability in the past month.

Is this based on your gut? If so, go use the bathroom and see if you feel differently. Nearly all of our recruits have confirmed that they are firmly on board and have no desires to play anywhere except UT. So what, besides an upset tummy, would give you the feeling that we have some surprise losses?

This obviously. Just not a lot of confidence surrounding the program in my opinion. Awful timing too. If I'm just a fan that has developed this sense, then you know some players who have stock in their future must as well. Do I want to lose players? No. I'd love for a Bryce Brown surprise to occur like we had several years ago. But I'm sorry if my opinion that staff changes and losses to inferior teams (in which we were OUT COACHED) may show warning signs to potential recruits. And all a recruit has to do is log onto Tennessee Vols Football, Vols Basketball, and Lady Vols to see this. Should I create a poll? "When will Coach Butch Jones will be fired? (A) After this upcoming season...(B) 2018... (C) 2019 ... (D) 2020..." Oh no, I don't need to because there's already been like 50 of those made over the past two seasons! I'm sure a lot of these recruits have the fact that CBJ may not be here for much longer in the back of their minds... Just a lack of confidence in our HC fueled my opinion. Sorry?

We had a better chance at getting Akers than Ray no way we get him if you don't won't to be in for a big let down forget about it Ray will not be a Vol.

*yawn* you're right, i'm wrong. there hasn't been any negativity, head scratching, or people calling for CBJ's lack of meeting expectations during this last season...Just saying that recruits see this type of stuff too and could affect things. Do I want to be right? Of course not.

Of course there has been negativity. VN is ripe with negativity. Do we need a poll to figure that out? Let's take a poll... All those in favor of a poll to find out if there has been negativity, say aye.

We will see if we lose anybody. Do you know how many current commits are visiting other schools on the last weekend? Hmmm? If we do lose anybody look out that window we have kids ready to take their place. Seems to me like a lot of solid to great players are ready to give their all for Tennessee come Feb. 1.

The poll was sarcasm... It seemed like after every game last season someone posted a poll "how much longer does cbj have?" or "who is going to be the next hc?". And the negativity isn't isolated to this site.

Yes, I agree. I'm one of the believers that there's a lot of solid talent in the 3* commits on this list. Especially Jordan Murphy. Really excited about him. I had some doubt in the evaluating of talent after I watched some of CJ Lewis's film, but glad to see he found a "better fit" at BC

My FF comment stands because we didn't have those polls over here in the RF. I think your assumption that we will lose surprise recruits on NSD is unfounded and based solely on exposure to the FF. I suggest never returning their if you are truly in favor of semi-sane posting.

This post embodies all the best VN things. Apologizes for opinion? Check. Reference a prior recruit from several coaches ago? Check. That recruit, although highly rated, caused trouble and left early? Check. Sentence structure a little shaky? Check. Got some all caps in there? CHECK. Assumes recruits read VN? Check. Fears recruits will read that head coach is going to get fired, then writes head coach is going to be fired? Check. Only thing missing is a Paul Bain reference and a "check my stats."
