Who's next to commit?

How about instead of trying to one up each other with how clever you are (we actually need to recruit a new coach, isn't that hilarious?), just answer the freaking question.

Right now I feel the fans are the only ones making sense, so we definitely can't turn on each other...not now, not ever, and definitely not the kids trying to play under this "process"...:hi:

GO VOLS!

Not many of the fans posting on here make very much sense. They posts reflect little or not facts of the underlying facts and are based or emotion rather than knowledge.

bump. Looking through the class, seems like we need:

1 more RB
1 more WR
3 more OL
3 more DL
1 more LB
3-4 more DB.

Obviously we don't have that kind of room left, right?

Yeah, room is tight. Saw somewhere on here that there's about 5 spots left (assuming all current recruits remain), and apparently Butch felt confident enough to tell a few recruits that we're full.

RB - I don't think we'll take another RB (told CFA that he'd be our only one).

WR - Definitely another WR. If we can get multiple high-rated guys, you'll probably see one or two current WRs look around more.

OL - We technically have 2 OL in Johnson & Stewart (grayshirt), so we may only see 1-2 more OL on signing day.

DL - Seem to be looking for 1 more DT, 1 more DE.

LB - We have 3 committed. Unless one leaves, I think we're done there.

DB - Still think we're aiming for 2 more here. I think the top two targets there are both safeties. Gotta hold onto Osborne. Also have Desmond Henderson(JUCO) coming in.

Obviously hoping the next commit is a pretty darn good WR out of GA on Friday...

Well this post was about when is the next recruit, which was one of my questions as well. It seemed like last year that like every Tuesday or two times every month there was a recruit commit. This year seems to e more sporadic (I guess that is mostly due to lack or room for this year we can only take in like 20 recruits as opposed to 45).

I also looked at some of the recruiting pages and it looks like Tennessee has only like 3-4 players left on their "HOT for Tennessee" board they are recruiting. Looks like the best we are going to do is like top 15 or top 20 which is like 8th or 9th in the conference

If Feaster wants in, he's got a spot at RB.

KD, Mecole, and another WR (Corley) at WR

Diestch and wouldn't be surprised if we got back in with Bryce Matthews at OL.

DT Derrick Brown

DBs anyone who can cover the slot would be good.

Why isn't Drew Richmond playing? Is he not a good practicer? Do we trust this staff's ability to properly evalute whether or not a kid can play? Play him! Let him learn on the field. I bet in a better offensive scheme, he would be killing folks....

Hard to start freshman olineman at, esp at the Tackle position.
My guess is Richmond overwhelmed many of the kids he went up against in HS and never had to rely on a bunch of technique. Where as a Jack Jones was probably not quite as athletically gifted as Richmond and had to use technique more than his athleticism. Which might be why he is playing over DR. I wouldnt sweat DR too much I am sure in time he will be a good player

Both were ranked reasonably close to equal last year. However, Jones was an EE, and Richmond was not. Never underestimate what those extra months getting acclimated to campus life and at the training table, the practice field, and the weight room mean this year. No real need to throw out guesses, IMO.

I just want some good MLB's and good DB's
and I will be happy.
I am good on the offense side of the ball. We are great with or QB, RB and OL depth for next year

Secondary was suppose to be a strength to carry our defense and or DL..hmmmmm
The Mike LB has been a HUGE glaring weak spot (maybe it improves next year)

Kirkland will be a good one just give him time he has improved every game. The secondary worries me as well.
