Why are we making the players the Scapegoat?

When opposing teams switch to a zone, shouldn't Dunbar be on the floor with the offense designed to get her open looks? If you have a three point shooter who is fairly consistent, the defense will abandon the zone after giving up a few three pointer. Yea or nay?

Once again why beat around the bush? She may have been a good player and yes she has been up on the hill 35 years but she sucks as a coach period! If you can't win games with 7 high school AA's on your team then reality is you got to go the program is suffering and only getting worse our tecruiting sucks now and tennessee is no longer an elite program that puts fear in other teams

Here is the main person to blame as she is responsible for this team playing at 100 percent of it'a ability and they haven't come close.
Losses to Arkansas, Va. Tech, Kentucky, and Florida should have been wins.

Fact Holly has over an 800 winning percentage.

Fact Holly has not maximized the results from her team this year.

Fact There have been injuries that effect some consistency and chemistry issues.

Fact some of the players have under preformed for whatever reason.

All said I see it as mostly Holly's fault, she is the Head Coach, after all. But part of it is a player problem, you can't coach effort and at times they seem to play with no intensity. The injuries have effected depth, but as a whole the team has underperformed this season. We have to many loses to teams less talented than we are.

We can try to find reasons and excuses to explain why Holly and the team are under performing. The fact remains that when you have that many talented players on a team and injuries happen then someone have to lead step up an take charge. Can anyone name a player that have tried doing that even worse coaching staff looks like they have no energy to coach no sense of urgency. Holly has to go bottom line.

Hard to watch this staff and this team with constantly turning the ball over, lack of outside shooting lazy rebounding effort and on and on. Enough already. Get the staff out and start over

Don't you win or lose as a team? At least that's what I hear everyone say.
Is it somehow morally superior to utterly trash a 50 year old, while exalting 20/year olds?

It is the 50 year old's job to have these young women fired up, motivated and ready to play at tip off

It is the 50 year old's job to come up up a game plane, make adjustments during the game and to teach these young women how to compete at the highest level.

So far the 50 year old has failed miserably.
