Freshman in his first start against maybe the best blitzer in the game and you wanna run him out of town? He's the future at RT so get used to it.

Why? Crowder has been getting owned tonight. And he has been mediocre at best in the previous games. Crowder is IMO the biggest individual disappointment so far this season.
To be honest, I have been concerned about him starting since the spring. He is undersized for an SEC lineman. I mean, I would expect someone like him on a Div II team. Saw a few plays last week where he got steamrolled...giving up a sack.

Put Weisman in at C. Blair at LT (he was No.2 all spring and camp), and Kerbyson back at RT. Blair can't be any worse than what we've been seeing thus far...and he's a big hoss. I cannot see how he could be a bust when they had every chance to evaluate while recruiting him.

We don't have 1 O lineman that could start at another SEC school, besides maybe Vandy. This has to be one of Our worst O lines ever. D-line playing great but our O line keeps us at 6-6 this season at best.

If this is true I am really worried about the future of our Offensive line.

Sorry guys and gals, we play the game with the bodies we have. End of story. Next two weeks should produce something different, I hope.

Blair came to Knoxville fat and out of shape....as a result his big ass is riding the pine

It may be more than than showing up out of shape. It could be this guy just doesn't have the creds for big boy football. In other words, somebody who scouted his potential just may have made a mistake. If he had any talent at all, he would be playing a few downs because the NEED is there. This team is screaming for some help at RT.

if getting beat so severely causes you to work extra hard the Thomas will single handedly be able to block an entire line by his junior year. he is just young and not on ok's dl level yet. the entire line will do nothing but get better. by their junior year they will be one of the best

It seems obvious that they are setting up Blair for a redshirt so that he can contribute significantly in '15 and '16.

This makes a ton of sense, as it appears he needs more time getting fit and working on technique, and we will also have loftier expectations next year and in 2016 (and will be breaking in a new QB).

This is a good strategic decision, just like redshirting Marcus Jackson was last season.

It will be interesting to see how Thomas plays going forward. I am glad coach stuck with him and hope last night will be a positive from an experience POV.

Disagree.

Also disagree. It seems Biopsywoman has an infactuation seeing that every other post from him/her has Crowder's name on it. Crowder had clean crisp snaps all night long and played a very solid game.
