Why did I feel like we lost when...

I don't care if the SEC goes 1-13 in the bowl games as long as Tennessee is the one win. SEC pride is dumb, and it's good to see some of them getting embarrassed. Hopefully we can live up to our end of the deal, though, and that will make us stand out more than if we were just one of 10+ SEC teams that won their bowl game.

Old piss just got the hell beat out of them...they beat the hell out of us. Exactly in whay way does that make us look good? The whole SEC loses when this crap happens. It makes every team look weaker. It will matter more to you shortsighted folks if\when we get Baylor/TCUd.

I will never pull for Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, or a Mississippi school in a bowl game. Never

Plus a few others. I can't understand why this is a thread, other sec teams lose and the op feels like we lost?? I think we still have to play the game, who cares about the rest.

You sir, are remarkably wise.

A strong SEC is good for whoever wins the SEC.

When a 1-loss SEC champ no longer gets the benefit of the doubt in a playoff scenario, and that 1-loss team happens to be a Butch Jones-led Tennessee squad playing in a "weaker" SEC, maybe then some of you will catch religion.

True, but I don't want to see an SEC team go the way of TCU because our conference is perceived to be weak.

Unless of course that SEC team is Georgia.

F Georgia.

See everyone has some bias. I don't believe the sec will go they way of the Big 12 and other conferences that are faltering.

I'm sorry but the whole well they beat us and then got beat by another team making us look bad arguments is probably one of the dumber arguments you can make. I mean every team is different and until every game can be played without injuries to starters its impossible to base one team off of what they did against one opponent and how that opponent did against another team a month or more later. Just look at UF last year. We played them when they had most of their team healthy but within a few weeks they had lost a bunch of starters and suddenly they were losing to bad teams.

Also the West losing and being exposed will only help our team next year. now instead fo going into games against the West and hearing how they are the best of the best in cfb and that having an effect on our players mentally. They now have seen that these teams aren't what they media hyped them to be and we can go play these teams without being mentally defeated or with the mindset that "they are the best of the best and were just middle of the road so losing isn't a bad thing"

Substitute Bama in UGA 's place and you sum up my thoughts exactly.
