Why did we offer 140 recruits?

I hate stupidity. Before you start calling names and making slurs know your facts. Go to rivals to see commit dates. My FACTS are FACTS. The commit dates dont lie. Most of those players were already signed or in the pipeline with most of the work done before he arrived. He didn't wave a magic fairy wand to make the players appear in a couple of weeks.

I didn't start the thread to start an argument. I asked a very good question and had a lot of good answers then you came along.

Did you read Ohiovol's post??? There were a good 13 recruits that wouldn't have even blinked an eye at the old staff...that is over half of the class...it's not hard to understand.

Then stop posting.

No he didn't wave a wand, he went out early every morning and got home late every night recruiting by himself until he got his staff. And if you want to credit Fulmer with his first few commits such as Eric Gordon, James Green, Arthur Jeffery........ you are sadly mistaken. Gordon was on his way to Bama, Green was a USF commit, and Jeffery was a diamond in the rough that had an injury, and Fulmer probably had no idea who he was. So come up with something different, or stop posting garbage.

Fulmer's staff stopped recruiting completely with over a month left before the season was over. So please refer back to my list and pay attention to the people who actually followed this year's recruiting.

Zach and Kevin especially. I think that Jerod committed and did commit to the school. Seems like a really honorable kid.

Yeah, me and everyone else that has a clue about recruiting. Funny that you are the only one with that opinion and I haven't seen you posting in this forum the whole recruiting season like the guys that have disagreed with you have. Get over your Fulmer love and face facts. It seems all you want to do is complain about this staff's recruiting tactics, but give them no credit for the battles they have won.

Fulmer wouldn't have had any shot at Bryce Brown, Janzen Jackson, Nu'keese Richardson, even Marsalis Teague was UF-bound before Ed O stepped in and turned him. These kids made the '09 class. You, sir, are completely clueless about recruiting. And that's not an insult. It's a statement of fact.

You'd be wise to listen to the people who actually know what is going on that have answered your questions and corrected your errors.
