The Jeremy Banks situation disrupted the game in far more ways than just his absence. Most all of the guys were emotionally and mentally absent. May not have won…..I may be way off base, but I’m somewhere in the middle camp between “his absence affected nothing but missing a linebacker” and “the defense threw the game because of a big blow up”. Something happened, and it hampered the whole team severely.Jeremy Banks is our only good defensive player, not his fault. The other defensive players suck! He had nothing to do with 63 points!!! Maybe they score 50 if he played!
Yep. If a frog had wings and all that….. TV makes the choice and nobody else has a say. Money talks…I think his rationale is at 7 pm on a Saturday night, we were dealing with a large, raucous, loud, and likely inebriated crowd that affected their team positively and ours negatively. Chances are, we would have performed better with a noon game, but them's the breaks. We did the same to Bama and Kentucky.
Wasn't just the fact he didn't play. Team moral was destroyed by Banks. Not saying we would have won without the Banks fiasco, but a close loss possibly could have kept us ahead of Alabama in the standings at this point. And look where they are setting now.Jeremy Banks is our only good defensive player, not his fault. The other defensive players suck! He had nothing to do with 63 points!!! Maybe they score 50 if he played!
I think he’s of the opinion that the environment is much tougher at night after 75k cocks have been drankin’ and druggin’ all day
Seriously I’m having a minor aneurysm over all the what could haves. Thanks Jeremy Banks again. Anyway….why did we play South Carolina at 7 pm?? That should have been a noon game….
