I'm thinking that OU is probably not enjoying playing second fiddle to Texas all the time. Just my two cents.
Look at the list of Big 12 champions in the last decade. Then, talk to me about who is playing second fiddle.

Tom Osborne is the biggest fraud in college football history. For all of his sanctimony and piety, his program was built on his ability to convince 180 pound hayseeds to shoot their bodies full of PEDs and keep the prosecutors in Lincoln from throwing trash like Lawrence Phillps and the Peter brothers in cages where they belonged.

And somewhere in Nebraska, Tom Osborne's nose just started bleeding.

Would you agree that this is an optimistic forecast, though? Because it could be that you are not much better off than before, in football. The only difference is you would at least have a recruiting and marketing angle that distinguished you from Texas, that might help grow your athletics.

I've spent some time working in College Station. It is a great college town and has a heck of a fan base. To include them in the SEC, would give them a great recruiting platform.

Didn't they steal a head coach from Bama a few years ago?

I'd hardly consider franchonie a "steal". He did beat those damn sips twice though.

He may not have been a "steal" per say, BUT it caused quite a bit of heartburn.

They're still pissed about how he left

Depends on when revenue from the whorn network takes a dip after having their arses handed to them by another bama buzz saw. My guess is and will remain, 5 years.

Best analogy I've seen:

Amused. It's like a redneck couple in divorce court that decided to give it 1 more shot. Eventually it will fall apart.
