Neal still likes to run east and west. It's not as bad but still too much. That won't work against the kind of speed Oregon has. You have to run straight at speed, not around it.
Like someone said, couldn't be he can't see well without his glasses. Personally, I never considered that. But then again, I never asked him and until and unless I know, won't condemn him.
Why would any athlete who has eye problems not be wearing contacts or something to correct their vision? Are you delirious?
Are you seriously suggesting that Neal is'nt selfish would'nt play even if he knew he had vision issues and diregard the fact he needs corrective lenses? sounds like about 75% of college athletes if you ask me.LOL. Are you seriously suggesting that Neal is myopic and just suits up without contacts or anything to correct his vision?

our backs are no good, have never been good, and never will be.
Until Butch can recruit some 4 and 5 star running backs, we will remain fair at best.
It is all about recruiting.
The best teams in the country are loaded with 4 and 5 star players.
Getting these types of players to come to a loosing program will not be easy.
Butch has a hard row to hoe.
Our RBs are sub par. It won't change this year so we will have to platy the hand we were dealt. And Jalen Hurd next year won't make us completely whole by himself. Look at Georgia, they have several quality RBs. EVERY YEAR.
I personally like Lane back there over neil. Still, both backs seem to "think" too much. I would love to see less dancing and more of one cut, hit the hole. Op is correct, Oline was blowing open some nice holes and I saw on a couple plays, neil would completly "ignore" them and cut back. One play, even pointed out by the commentators, UT seemed to have called a misdirection, cut back to the strong side, a massive hole opened up immediatly on the weak side...an instinctive back would have took that all day...neil cut back for a 2 yd loss.
