Their rankings contradict their own criteria. Stumbling with words when asked reasons for rankings. Hence the assertion of it being a sham. Really not that hard to understand.

The sad thing is that NONE of our fans mention the boiled egg we laid @ Georgia. That is where we lost the NC, Heistman & Biletnikoff award. Our season got emasculated in Athens Georgia.

And OSU did the same when they played Michigan - yet there they are. I guess TN is the only team that doesn't qualify for redemption.

Factors they lost 3 games combined by less than 7 points or so and ours well!!!!

Bama lost on a FG to us, and a 2 pt conversion to LSU. We lost by 14 to Georgia, but we got blown out by South Carolina and lost our starting QB. They take injuries into account. And our loss to SC was inexcusably bad

Whiny-ass Nick disagrees, of course. Arguing that Vegas odds, in essence, should be added to the criteria. He actually said with a straight face, that the element of who would be favored when comparing teams should be taken into account. Why play the games at all if we’re going to go off who’s favored to win? His team was favored in both of his losses and failed to cover double digit Vegas spreads on three other occasions.

We lost our games by a combined 39 points. They lost their by 4. That’s a 35-point differential. Against common opponents we were 4 points better again at Vandy than Bama was (really more if you factor in Bama was at home while we were at Vandy) and 28 points better against LSU. That’s a 32-point difference in common opponents so that’s basically a wash with the loss differential. We’re ahead in top 25 wins, top 10 wins, SOS and that pesky little thing called head to head. There’s literally no justification for Bama being ahead of us and except for maybe saying they’re better today since Hooker is hurt but that’s not what the committee is saying.

I was Definitely wrong on that one.

Don’t even matter what happens in the second. If you can hang for a half…..you definitely “capable” of winning.
