I hate it when people say things like
How is the less athletic team 'getting to the line' so much? The stat that inspired my post was that 2 Vandy players, one of whom being Aussie-wussie Ogilvy, have shot more free throws than the entire combined rosters of LSU or Bama. Don't respond with "Well, if you get to the line more you make more Ft's". Durrr. Also to the "Well, UF is getting the calls this game" crowd... That also is not the point. The point is Ogilvy vs Bama or Ogilvy vs LSU. No soft jump shooter should get that many FT's, and even you Vandy fans know he's soft.
I know/have worked with/am related to plenty of Vandy and UT alumni, and there is no difference in intelligence there. Vandy isn't Harvard or Yale, like you d-bags pretend. It is a disappointing fall-back school for that level scholar. In fact, Vandy has become a rich kid party school, not a scholar's school. I have several UT grad friends that teach at Vandy, so what does that say? And lastly, anyone insulting Vol intelligence on a UT blog is no genius. Don't you have people you like somewhere that you could annoy?
