We’ve have gone from warp speed to stopping and looking at the sidelines every play. We finally went fast in the second half for a series and had Florida on their heels.
This offense runs so much better when they get to the line and go. Defense isn’t even set some snaps. Why have we quit?

When you dont make first downs, they dont let you stay on the field.

Don’t know if it’s our change in O coordinator or Milton can’t process as quick, OR both.
HUGE drop off from last year’s O no doubt……
To run that fast pace offense requires a QB with the ability to process information at a high speed. It is a rare ability. Arm talent alone doesn’t make it.

Word on here is that Milton can’t process information fast enough, Coach Heupel doesn’t have faith in him, the offensive line stinks, or a combination of the above.
Take your pick
It’s too fast and too much info for him. He’s overwhelmed. Unfortunately, Joe is not the answer and Nico is not ready. Sucks man.

Our OL is not in sync with Ollie at center. You can't run a play without the OL. I hope we recruited several top OLs. I think it's our biggest weakness. Worse than our DBs.
2024 class has a few good ones. We need to hit the portal though this offseason.

Because we’re more of a run team now with Milton at QB and the pace is hard on running backs.

Dude we do go fast. I cant even count how many times Got out of my seat to get something and by the time i got back (30 seconds) we had gone from 1st down to punting.

When our offense isnt working we go 3 and out really really fast. Cant be good for the defense.

Alex Golesh is missing!

Tempo really gave us problems. Our guys were still bouncing around trying to get the signals out instead of being set while y'all were getting ready to snap. That's what I've assumed was a key tenet of Heupel's deal, go fast, wide splits, option routes, and rpo, and the "go fast" being the key.

Because Milton can't run that offense. He can't read the defense or make quick decisions. Sorry, but true.

If that is the case in which many people have stated in previous comments about processing the offense, then why isn’t Gaston Moore not starting or at the least in consideration? He followed Heupel here from UCF and knows the offense. He also looked the most crisp and poised in the spring game. Something just seems amiss.

Probably a little of both. If you remember Golesh was quick to tell Heupel what he was seeing and how he thought we could exploit it. Maybe it's how the communication is being transferred. We have to remember our old OC is now a head man, he was probably a little quicker on diagnosing what is happening than Halze
