Couldn't be closer to the truth, I work in Harlan County.

I would love to see absolutely anyone rid us of having to see Calipari and UK cut down nets, but it won't be IU. Getting this rematch in the Sweet Sixteen is the absolute best draw BBN could have hoped for. I give IU less odds this week than I would have given VCU or Wichita State.

UK was on the losing end of arguably the greatest college basketball game ever played.

Deal with it...give Craig Ehlo a call if you need help coping.

The world took a step closer to hell when Harlan and Pikeville found the internet.

Hardwood don't insult eastern KY like that w/o including their western brethren in our neck of the woods.

Logan and Todd Co. folks are convinced that Kanter would've played for any team in the country last year other than UK because the NCAA doesn't want UK to succeed.

Had one tell me today ESPN hates UK and that's why the IU game winner is constantly shown in commercials. Weird that Vitale slobbers over Davis when the game he's calling doesn't even feature UK.

The belief that the NCAA wouldn't want one of their most traditional and cash cow programs succeeding is ludicrous.

So where is your local watering hole?

My question to you is, why run such a dumb commercial? It says "everyone remembers the shot but what about the pass." But doesn't everyone know it was Grant Hill that made the pass. I shake my head every time I see the commercial because it implies that we don't know a basic fact about one of the greatest plays in college basketball history from one of the greatest players to ever play.

yeah, a lot of people have that question. UPS was trying to make the comparison that logistics is an integral part of any successful business. It's not always the end product, sometimes it's the journey and in this case, Hill's pass. the majority of the time when that play is brought up, the conversation revolves around Laettner's shot, not Hill's pass. when reflecting back, everyone says "remember that shot Laettner made?" not, "remember that pass Hill made?"

my group didn't produce the commercial nor did we come up with the concept, that's not our job. we did however, monitor media coverage of the outrage by kentucky fans and develop a strategy to convey UPS message and thought process behind the ads through earned media channels.

interestingly enough, UPS did ask UK for permission to run the ad and UK obliged.

Clearly they didn't go to Basket, KY in the North West section just south of the Indiana border.

Literally the worst place I've ever been in my life.
