It seems like every time he has a great first half, they stop trying to get the ball inside to him. It makes no freaking sense! Posted via VolNation Mobile
I think it's because the other team makes adjustments at the half to stop it and our coaches aren't good enough to anticipate it. Posted via VolNation Mobile
The problem is during halftime our coaches decide we need to get another person involved. Instead of having 2 people score we just stop giving it to Harris and have Hopson try to force the issue.
He had the hot hand.. We should have just fed him in the second half and rode him.. But we have to many people tryin to be the next Lofton which isn't gonna happen.. Honestly he could be our best scorer including Hopson.. He is way ahead of the freshmen or sophomore Scotty.. But it could be due to Hopson drawing more attention and it opens things up for him..
why is it so hard for them to feed off of each other? two amazing talents that i just don't think compliment each other. and i know it's frustrating for them because they're both trying to make it pro. they have to find that chemistry. if they both stay one more year they'll find it.
In the second half the guards always start trying to build a new arena bricking threes....... Bench em for someone who will jus pass the ball and drive Posted via VolNation Mobile
well i'm sure all Billy Donovan talked about during his halftime speech was shutting Toby down. Credit Harris though, he played well above his years yesterday and today. if he decides to stay, he WILL be a legend at UT.
In the second half we always play to our weekness and not our strengths.. Tell the team the shots aren't fouling drive and draw fouls or feed the ball inside or take the short basket. Nobody take the three unless its Harris or Scotty and if u do u better be wide open and don't miss........ Posted via VolNation Mobile
