I'm sure plenty of posters in this thread thought it was hi-larious when a GOP congressman body-slammed a reporter....and those same posters are now outraged by this event.

I'm interested to see if Trump will comment on it after referring to the congressman as a "stand up guy."

There's an inconsistency here, one that confirms my belief that most human beings are extremely stupid (it really didn't need any more confirmation).

I'd never try to rationalize either of these events.

I'm independent, but mostly conservative. I called the body slam wrong then, and even earlier in this thread. I got cussed on on a Facebook news page by republicans over it. The point is, that's one little incident, where antifa is a constant problem. Why can't you liberals just say its wrong, instead of "but trump", or "a few years ago this one congressman"? I mean it's literally not that hard, unless you're just too scared to admit you love it.

It actually seems more related to Muslims belief that anything done to an infidel is OK and you will be rewarded for it later. Works in Portland, doubt it would be as successful in the south.

I know you're trying to have a civil conversation, but the "you liberals" part makes me wonder. You literally have no idea here.

Antifa as a constant problem, but the far right producing people like Jeremy Christian, two synagogue shootings, a White Nationalist & Nazi march in Charlottesville, tells me, as a sentient human being that maybe th threat of violence is constant on both sides because our politics is broken and our culture has turned into total ********.

I hate the dawgs with a passion, but I'm positive tgese people around here would handle antifa like the babies they are. That said, I'd literally pay money to see antifa go to the area of Kentucky that I'm from, and go up in one of them hollars and start throwing stuff at people😂😄.

Call me what you wish, but the fact that not one of "you liberals" would come straight out and condemn this without throwing trump or republicans in there speaks for itself. However, I do agree that both far sides are ignorant.
