Why is Biden still in office

He can’t be removed now because Kamala would be exposed for not being a competent replacement. 3 months is just too much time to hide her.

I think that if Trump wins the Dems will replace Biden with Harris in November or December so they get credited for having the first female and the first Asian-American POTUS.

I think it's more out of convenience, they want Harris to be freed up to campaign 24/7. I agree Biden needs to step down and the dems are taking advantage of the situation.

He's not mentally fit to run again. Our Dem friends have agreed to that. Is that just projection? Of course not. We all saw the debate. Next question, if Trump had been assasinated, would Biden still be the nominee? I say yes.
I asked yesterday who is running the country.

No one knows.

Concerning.

Seems like a bad time to be taking a break. Trump still not in jail and moving ahead, Israel with missile strikes in Iran and Ukraine still needing the US. Not to mention the terrorist from 9/11 getting plea deals.

Good point. Running for POTUS while also bring POTUS isn’t something that she’s capable of pulling off.

remaining in power is his reward for giving up the nomination

it also lets them sell that "first black woman president" angle, and keep the fresh smell on it. If she was president now, we wouldn't have to vote to get the first black woman president.

You’re probably right because he was nothing but a figurehead….

Why is removal of a president even included in the 25th if this scenario doesn’t invoke it?

I understand that it wouldn’t be a good look for Kamala to move forward with replacing Joe, but come on man! He can’t do the job. Unless doing the job is being a puppet for the shadow government.

To anyone with even half a brain this looks worse than if they had removed him. Had she lead the charge to remove him it would have been a show of he doing the right thing, putting the country first and making the tough decisions. Now it is proof the she will always do what's best for her and country be damned.

Because the citizens of the US have lost any control over their govt

Something, something.... without representation
Pretty much.

Something is just inherently wrong with Biden still being “president” when everyone knows he cannot do the job. It’s not that he can’t do the job for four more years, he cannot do it right now. Why not put Kamala in charge now? That’s an issue for me; if she’s incapable of running the country competently for three months why would we elect her?

But seriously, Internationally, this might be the most dangerous time since the Cuban missle crisis. Our adversaries can see clearly that no one is really in charge. They know that they have pretty much cart Blanche for the next six months for all kinds of mischief.

Internationally and domestically it's a dangerous time with an empty suit sitting in the oval office.
