Why is Houston Ranked 17th???

Even as bad as we have been playing... Do you really think that there is any reason why we wouldn't go undefeated with a schedule like this?? Case Keenum went off last night...534 YDS, 9 TD, 1 INT But it makes me wonder what Bray would of done against these guys... I don't see any reason why they should be ranked as the number one passing team in the nation... they play garbage teams.. They really need to start putting more schedule strength into these rankings...

Lol Yeah I would like to see that... I loved it when GA went and rocked Hawaii's world when they were complaining about not getting to the NC game... lol

Keenum gets exposed for what he really is. A quarterback who can throw the ball against high school defenses. Throws 3 INTS and doesn't break 200 yards.

Yeah, and also Bray didnt get recognition because he played Ole Miss, Kentucky, Vandy, Memphis, North Carolina, and half a game versus South Carolina. Compared to that schedule its a murderers row!

Yep...How are they a top 5 team?? I think this is the best team they have had.. but even a few years ago.. ESPN just jumped on the bandwagon and rode them to the top.. Now they actually got some recruits and are pretty decent... but I still don't think they would even be a .500 team in the SEC.... They can prepare as well as anyone for ONE game... but week in and week out.. Play BAMA, LSU, then SC??? No way they are even close to the top 25...

Living in Houston, these boys love Case Keenum and consider him the second coming. I don't deny he's got an arm and plays good, smart football, but their SoS leaves a LOT to be desired. No telling how good they are. The question is, if we end up playing them in the Liberty Bowl, do you guys think we win?

They are undefeated. Thats why their ranked. Nothing of interest will come from it, which is why you don't here anyone important talking about houston. No Offense to the OP of course ;)

Well I doubt we go to the liberty bowl... If anything I think we will go back to the Music City bowl again.. If they finish out they will prob go to a higher bowl than the liberty bowl... Rice scored 34 on them... So their D is horrible.. I would say even if it was a shootout.. we wouldn't have any problem scoring... I think that even as bad as our secondary seems.. It's still 100 times better than anything they will have seen this season..

Honestly, I'd hate to play them. I think he'd just torch our secondary. But....so would Bray. :)

Yeah but that's kind of my point.. why are they even ranked.. they are just taking up room where other teams should be... Noone really thinks they are that good... they just have to rank them up there because they are undefeated?? Give that schedule to about anyone in the SEC and they will be undefeated..
