They continue to get good ratings on NBC; primarily because they have a large following, secondarily, train wrecks are not often covered live.

I hate ND but let's be honest, they rolled all over SF.... They just made mistakes in the red zone...I bet they win 8-9 games this year... They play a weak schedule and will get a good bowl....as far as why they're relevant, go ton any mall in America and walk in a sports store....everyone will sell ND stuff, no other school can say that. HUGE fan basr

They certainly shot theirself in the foot time and time again but SF looked a lot quicker and athletic than ND. Below average offense and an average defense with their weak schedule and I agree on 8-9 games but I bet they get rolled in their bowl game.

I have never hated ND. I've always enjoyed playing them. Some of the best traditions in College football. Best band in College Football.
