Why is Pearl refusing to play any of our 4* players sitting on the bench?

I don't understand why Tatum continues to play. Bone should be starting.

Also don't understand why we quit with the full court press. At least it gives us easy baskets at times. I don't buy the excuse that this team can't press and even if they can't whose fault is that? Pearl recruited them. Funny how he could press with Buzz's players.

TNBV- What is Tatum doing to deserve being out there, besides hitting one 3, then hitting a joint and looking stoned throughout the game... Your reference of mini Pearl and heart. I agree if the other player had his heart they would be better....... but if mini Pearl had any kind of offensive game whatsever, it would really help as well.

I have to say that I am also very intrigued by the so-called 4* scout team (Hall, Maymon, McRae, Golden and Woolridge) but I think thats only natural that we are intrigued because we havent seen them play. Someone else made a reference to the football team and we went through this with the qb's until Crompton and Bray settled in the last 2 years. We assume another player could be better even though we dont see them every day. I have to imagine that the coaches who see these guys every day know better. With as much pressure as there is in college sports I cant believe there would be any conspiracy to play players that arent as good as others.

Pearl is a favorite to pick on and I hate watching him pass up shots and offensive opportunities but Maymon does the exact same thing in his very limited minutes. One of the recent games where Harris got into early foul trouble Maymon had to play and he seemed to play almost exactly like Pearl. I cant say one is better than another. I had high hopes for Maymon and wish he would get more time also but I have to trust the coaches and believe that Pearl gives us a better chance to win.

Skylar has kept us in some games this year with his 3s (Vandy at home and Bama) and Pearl just outworks every other person on the court. These are players that CBP likes to have because they are role players and will do anything for this team. We need more of that. Kenny Hall and Maymon are 1 year away. Woolridge won't see playing time his entire year. He was a 4* because of the name. Pearl has grown on me this year watching the way he plays and works.
