Why is SEC recruiting so much more intense than other conferences?

Two words------MONEY

...and the best coaches, best HS programs, best fans, best weather (think about it, the northern schools are indoors playing basketball and hockey...), best records for sending kids to the NFL, best programs, best tradition (imo), etc...

Tennessee's talent is on the rise b/c of improved middle school programs, if your local HS has no MS program start one! Most state title contenders have good MS programs. :yes:

Is northern migration to TN pretty high right now?? If so this will increase the talent pool as well. I know the northern schools have had issues with talent leaving for yrs, and one reason they have said their football quality has gone down. Ie PA, and many big east and eastern big ten schools.

Nebraska and Oregon are pretty good but neither do they play every year Bama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, etc.
