People who think this decision had anything to do with "performance" are incorrect. ESPN schedules these games in the summertime. They knew this would be a week in which no one would watch ESPN in primetime regardless of the matchup, so they went with a double header. One game that has a chance to be decent with solid ratings at noon, and one game to appease a certain demographic at 8. I expect them to make this a yearly thing, alternating between Tennessee and UConn, because no one else shows up or cares for women's games.
