Why isn't Dooley coaching the UK game?

Dooley doesn't want another losing UT record. 0-8 in the SEC and a 8 loss team.

He has nothing to contribute to the team. He had 3 years. Just let them team go out and have fun.

AT least Joker is at a historically bad football program and has been part of making it better as an oc and he beat usc and ut as well as louisville and vandy as a head coach. he just has the normal depleted uk roster. totally different!!

He just coached the team through the first stretch of 3 consecutive losing seasons on the hill in over 100 years. The real question is why should we want him there?

Does Dooley really deserve a ceremonial last game? It would sure be thrilling to watch him be carried off the field on the shoulders of his players after a 17-7 win over Kentucky.

We shouldn't When I saw that on espn I was like so we haven't been this bad in 100 years!!! Numbers don't lie.

Tickets! Nobody would show for Dooley. It was financial. More seats sold means closer to paying buyout... lol!

More than anything this is the most likely reason. Too many people choose to ignore and discard what Dooley did for the program in terms of its public image (University of Thugs) and even getting moderate talent to come into a program many recruits perceived as a career killer.
I was a supporter and well-wisher of CDD. I still wish him well. But even one such as I after the VU game has to admit it is time to part ways. Hopefully, Vols fans can agree to that without the spite, venom, and hate. If not it just shows we don't deserve any kind of coach, DD or otherwise.

i can almost bet with no bowl now there WONT be 50,000 at the game on Sat...I would be shocked if even 25,000 show up!

if you were dooley would YOU want to be on that sideline? evidentally his answer was NO....good ridance, or however you spell it
