Keyton has his troubles getting open. He relies a lot on schemeLooking at Pro Football Focus' website. they show that Tillman played in 6 games and was thrown to 59 times. Keyton played in 12 games, and was thrown to only 43 times. Why the wide discrepancy? Seems like Keyton has produced when called upon.
yup this team was extremely right handed all season with both QB's like 9/10 long bombs went right.Pff is 100% amazing. You’re partially correct about your top comment, but we still throw to the right more than the left even with Tillman out. It may be by design (maybe that’s where you put your best guy in this offense), it may be what Hooker was more comfortable with (a lot of QBs throw better to one side than the other)
I feel like Hooker was more balanced to the other WRs when Tillman wasn't on the field, which led to inconsistencies in certain games, including our 2 losses. Both great players. Just an observation.
No this is all wrong.Correct me if I am wrong but when Tillman went out I read that Hyatt moved to his spot, not sure if Keyton then took Hyatts spot or if he just spelled Hyatt at times but point being, Hyatt would not have gotten the production we saw if Tillman had not gotten hurt so it could be that X, Y or Z postion whichever they were in was the go to route in most situations, Hooker definitely threw to Tillman more when he was in and more to Hyatt when he was out, so was it the route or the player being targeted?
Both of you are inaccurate. When Tillman excited, Keyton subbed for him, Hyatt stayed at the slot.No this is all wrong.
Hyatt was the dude to catch the 1st TD of the season. He was hot from the beginning, and then went crazy against Bama.
Keyton was the dude subbing in for him.
Hyatt had 18 targets against Pitt...
