We had tight games against Pitt, Florida, and Alabama and have curb stomped everyone else. We humiliated good LSU and Kentucky teams.

Alabama and now Georgia are big favorites against us, largely due to history and reputation. But this is a new day. I like our chances against ANY TEAM RiGHT NOW.

To throw a log on the Big Orange fire - when OU hired Bob Stoops they were down and out but he won the NC in his second year; with Josh Heupel as QB.

Two-year turn arounds are real.

Urban Meyer won at year 2 in Florida as well.

Saban didn't win in year 2 but they had a 12-0 season.

Year 2 seems to be the MAJOR breakthrough for excellent coaches.

UK was never a passing threat - one reason our passing defense is so poor is that every team is forced to throw the ball to keep up and the get a ton of possessions.
It looked like a light came on for our DBs tonight. They were smothering and lay wood like I haven't seen in a long time. We are starting to look SCARY GOOD

Exactly what I was thinking. Come here and play in front of a crazy crowd with a lights out offense. Come here an have fun winning.

Maybe go after Francis Maigoa and Carnell Tate again. Cormani McClain (who is best DB) committed to Miami and would be another great add.

Issue with Miami is that I think they are just forking out the NIL $$$$. Maybe hard to over come that. Also some of these high star recruits may not be the best players from a head case perspective. Look at the dumpster fire at Texas A&M right now.

Granted, Alabama and Georgia seems to develop them well. I guess that is what is impressive about the Saban system, you rarely see a Kelly Washington type situation with Alabama (and now Georgia) with their 5 stars getting big heads.

In year 2, we are looking at a minimum of 11-1.

Our quarterback is a Heisman contender.

Jalin Hyatt has 12 TDs through 8 games.

We beat a Nick Saban led Alabama...

Honestly I'm wondering if maybe I passed away in the off season without realizing it and this is what I've manifested my personal afterlife as.

Its surreal.

Go back and watch the Pitt game. We are nowhere close to the same team that we were at the start of the season. Every group from OL, DL, WRs, RBs and LBs have gotten better throughout. And don’t look now, but our secondary is turning a corner…just in time. It’s literally scary how much we have improved as the season has gone on. What a coaching job we are witnessing.

Rivals still hates us, we are down now to #12 even though we picked up three solid recruits the past couple of weeks, I don't understand their system:
