Why should we be optimistic about our defense next year?

Couch/ O'brien and Mccullers will be solid at DT

AJ and Curt will make plays at the second level

Randolph and Mcneil/ Bell will make a good back end

Our players are better suited for the 4-3

A lot of guys will get a new shot at showing what they have under the new regime


All are reasons for optimism

I got the faith bro, believe everything you said just not quite to the degree. What with the new system, losses on offense and perhaps the most difficult schedule in the country- playing 5 of top 9 preseason teams in the country. I believe like you, but just that it'll take a little more time than 1 year... More like 2-3

Uh Gruuds..... I mean this with all due respect, but, what the Flyin' f are you talking about? No freakin way our defense will even approach how awful it was last year- Sunseri's departure insured that. Still have one of the best O lines in the country. About to bring in some good talented players to fill some needs. I'm optimistic...realistic, but optimistic. No Sec champ or BCSbowl, but a better team and better program. No offense buddy.

Some claim there is happiness in dying....I wouldn't know....is this year going to be more of the same?
I don't know that either....if we could some how win a game or 2 we're not suppose to win it would definately help the team's confidence and maybe then we could sense a turnaround....and stop the bleeding
