I want to know what people have against Casey Clausen. Other than the Florida game where he fumbled 4,000 times I think he had a stellar career.

I haven't really read too much Casey hate threads lately. Where did this come from??

No matter what people may say i think not winning the LSu game in sec which was no fault of his hurt his legacy. The two previous QBs had won SEC championships before and that is alot for him to live up to.

People on here drag the Clausen name through the mud all the time. I was wanting to find out why the people that don't like him, don't like him. On a side note does anyone remember the for and twenty something pass he completed in overtime against Bama that year? That was one of the greatest plays I have witnessed since I've been watching UT football.

casey was 1-3 in bowls. the one bowl he won was b/c of the defense and the receivers.

he got spanked in the sec championship. the cotton bowl he got destroyed. and got beat back to back peach bowls by mid level acc teams.

he ran, skipped and jumped like a little girl and rode the talent the whole time he was here.

and rick. dont get me started. he had one game. ONE lucky game in his career. big deal. he cost us the sec champ. last year against auburn by going an incredible 9-20. blew the notre dame game last year.

i can go on but my hand hurts.

I liked the kid personally, much more than Ricky. I think some people did not like his attitude or swager or his way of doing things, kinda hard to summarize. Still he was very productive and won a lot of games. I think that losing some of the big games has overshadowed his overall good record.

Your answer lack real thought chuck. Spend less time developing those snappy one liners you have and put some real (if your capable) thought into it.

Its a stretch at best to say that Casey was at fault for the 1-3 bowl record. And as for the win you say that it was due to the defense and the recievers. I'm not trying to make you look like an IDIOT or anything but the recievers didn't throw the ball to themselves. As for the loss in the SEC championship game it was fumbles by Stephens and Stalworth that lost it not the Play of Casey.

You say Rick cost "us" the SEC championship last year. What position did you play? You are truly not very smart if you think that was all Rick. Auburn had one of the best defenses in conference history last year. Peyton would have had a hard time completing passes on those guys.

He will go to the grocery store and pick up a roll of charmin and a box of tide and make one of those handy dandy roll tide signs. The he's gonna go to the nearest sporting goods store and pick up a Namath throwback Jersey. His final step will be to name his first born " thu BEAR".

Enough people. We don't need any fighting amongst ourselves unless it's about who will start next year, Ainge or Crompton.

thanks CC, i for one was always jealous of Casey because of his dating Brittany Jackson. I liked him OK i guess, i dont think we need another one though. We got enough QBs in the stable, how many more do u need, all that crap does is start another QB controversy, and lord knows we dont need another one of those.
