Why Tennessee wins the SEC championship

At best I see us getting to semi's and losing to Vandy...don't see us beating them 3 times.

But I won't be suprised if we lose round 1.

Using the history of this last season to base an opinion on how the Vols will perform in the SEC tourney, sadly I don't share the same optimism as you do 7thgroup.

If you are looking for history, you can go a little further than that, like 3 decades.

I thought this thread was going to tell us about 11 teams not showing up for the tourney.

This thread should be titled "why drugs impair your judgment"

Seriously, I am so frustrated with the team after Sunday, I fully expect them to loose first round.

Thats interesting, so you think Tennessee has no chance? I'm sick of this teams play also, but that's only because they are a really good team when they want to be. Instead of bashing Cam and this team. I'm going to show some support and see what happens. This thread has fail written all over it, but we'll see.

That's the thing. When I look at the bracket I cannot predict a single game, much less a winner. Any team could lose to any team.

It would be so easy to bash the team and fire pearl and on and on, but what if we supported the team and showed a little confidence in them? It's been awhile since I've seen a positive discussion about the basketball team and for good reason.

Let's clear the record, 0 wins and 0 losses. The first games against arky on Thursday in Atlanta. Time to take care of business.

We have been on a bad shooting streak. Statistically we are due to correct our shooting percent numbers with some real hot streak shooting. When it is over we will be back to a slightly above average percentage and in the Final Four.

The statistical correction starts Thursday with 40% threes and 48% twos and a 14 point win margin over the pigs.

Pelphrey is fired on friday. Celebration.

I thought my prediction was ballsy.

wow.... this is hard... but I agree with the Gator.... everyone is almost equally as good on a given day as they can be bad in this league! See UGA's tourney win from a couple years back.... who saw that coming???

Florida has a gawdy record in the SEC regular season this year in terms of W-L. But the only teams we've beaten handily were all Western Division. Against SECE, we've barely won most of those, going to OT in several. Its not like the top conference teams this year have a whole lot on the teams in the middle.

That same dawg team had to win 2 games in one day because of the tornado. Anybody can win the SEC.

are you guys getting Brian Williams back for ArKANSAS? you beat Kentucky yesterday if he was healthy.

Popular thought is he sat so we could make sure he was available for the upcoming post season games... he probably could have gone if 100% necessary..... we will need him in the SECT as he is the most consistent true post guy we have.... and that's a stretch since he has anywhere from 2-20 pts. on a given night

The only positive we have is that it is a neutral court. I believe we are undefeated on those this year.

We do have a shot. We have lured the whole conference into thinking we are lazy, uncoached, and just not worth a crap.

Got to agree, it took a lot to get positioned for this....but Preal got em right where he wants em. Now, to shock the world.

any additional inside scoring no doubt would help but i thought you guys mainly lost because you couldn't get a rebound in the last five minutes. that's where Williams would have been valuable. he'd be someone that could bang for 25 minutes against 270 lb Harrellson and provide a little better interior defense.

do you think you don't get edged as home by Mississippi State as well if he didn't get injured during that game?

am a much bigger fan of getting more time to prepare for the main tourney honestly

What is really likely is that TN has won its last game of this season.
