why the 2011 class will be loaded

people forget that we still have to focus on this year even if we do recieve all of our allotment of scholarships before february we have to keep them interested, and we have kids who will not announce until the All-American games, but i do agree the success we are having will help us look at 2011 quicker to a certain extent

as if we didn't know our coaches could recruit better than anyone. with 21 commitments already in the 2010 class that leaves us with 7 spots left for this class. if we get commitments from menzine, luc, jones, james, green, cullen, and one of many safeties this class could be all but complete 2 months before signing day. this will allow the staff to put an early full court press on some 2011 kids. getting an early start while other programs are working on completing their 2010 class will give an already great recruiting staff an even bigger advantage. the sooner the 2010 class is wrapped up the sicker this 2011 class will become.:dance2::rock::rock::dance2:

At this point they have already scouted the best juniors in the nation and have a few guys who are under the radar to this point.

I guarantee you they are looking at the 1012 class, no doubt.

So long as Ed is our recruiting coordinator this will be the protocol.

From ESPN.

Luc and the Vols

Indeed I was slow to pick up on this and admit this is not breaking news, but according to sources Tennessee has made a big push for Under Armour All-American linebacker Jeff Luc (Port Saint Lucie, Fla./Treasure Coast). One source called it a "done deal", but never underestimate the in-state Florida programs when they are determined to keep one of their own at home, particularly Florida at this point in time.

i don't know, this staff can recruit with the best of 'em but i'm betting that the byzantine's and the norman's are going to dominate 1012, my darkhorse is the song dynasty in the east...

I have posted this info before in a different forum but seems relevant here as well:

Tennessee is the ONLY school in the SEC and from most other big programs I checked outside of the SEC as well to have three commits already for 2011.

The best part is that the few schools that do have commits already for 2011, the recruits are in-state prospects where Tennessee's 3 commits are ALL out-of-state prospects.

We have the biggest jump on the 2011 class already in the SEC and probably nationally at this point. Alabama has 2 recruits already listed as 4 stars but, both from AL. They'll show up strong along with USC, FL, and Texas but, Tennessee is already off and running for 2011.

GO VOLS!!!

As a history major... This post is an epic win.

the 2011 team will be better than the recruiting class. BCS bowl(if not NC), top 3 in the country at seasons end
