Why the trepidation?

Since our 1 and 4 start in sec play, we've reeled off 9 wins and only 2 losses. We are not the same team. Other than Kentucky, there isn't a hotter team than ours in conference. As we begin tournament play next Friday, I like our chances in reaching the final against the Cats. Who else should worry us at this point? Yeah, we will have to earn the final with 2 more wins and play with same intensity we have recently. But we're rolling and hot at just the right time. Don't you think the recent waves we have made aren't getting attention? We've received prompts from espn and Calipari. I think we make the final of the sec tourney and even more attention is going to focus on the Vols men's team. Can we upset the Cats and win the whole coconut? I don't know, but the atmosphere will be electric and we'll be playing to win. I think our Vols will make the ncaa tourney. They would be remiss on passing on us if things go as I think they will.

Ole miss, MSU, and Vandy. COULD beat us. I'm nervous about this tournament, but I honestly think we win the whole thing.

We can if we play UK perfect and get Davis in foul trouble.

I'm not worried about Ole Miss/Auburn. I'm worried about Vandy.

who gives a rat azz about getting props from Cal. ? this is like the 3rd thread where somebody stated something Cal said.If he said Tn sucked then everybody would be bashing him.Tn is set up to reach the finals if they stay focused and Vandy will be upset by Ms St.

I'm not sure we have to play both OM and MSU, do we? I'm thinking we play one or the other and then probably Vandy again. Then the Cats in the final.

I care. Okay? I care. He's a rival coach and didn't have to give a nod our way, but he did. Doesn't matter to me what you think. I thought it was a class thing from an opponent's coach.

We'll have to give another max effort against Vandy, but that was no appartion we saw Saturday. It will be a war for sure, but it will be coming just a week after we beat them and the confidence level among the players should be very high. Winning 8 of the last 9 games has to help too. I feel good about it. Not overly confident, but just enough.

Candy, very much so. I'm extremely worried about ole miss. Don't know why. Besides the fact they are playing well as of late. ALTHOUGH no hotter team than us besides KY. HOPE our fans travel well to LA.

Ole miss or auburn, then Vandy I think. I was just expressing the teams that concern me. My mistake for not being more clear.

Nervous? Absolutely! Concerned maybe, but not worried. I'm shattered before and during games and usually down to the final minute. That's always true whether it's regular season or tourney. I'm a fist-pumping, over-caffeinated nervous wreck, but I'm not worried. Let's say concerned as always.

we played one heck of a game against Vandy. If Skylar gives him an inch more of space than he did I don't know if we get that W. We can definitely beat them again but we have to play a perfect, turnoverless game. Kentucky...I just don't see it. Love our guys but come on

Funny how everyone assumes UT will face Vandy in the Semis. Vandy most likely will play Miss St, who beat them in Nashville. Considering how badly Vandy plays come tourney time, and how well Miss St has played in recent SEC tourneys, don't be surprised if Vandy is 1 and done.

The reality is all fans of all schools are nervous. Only exception is UK. Every school in the SEC has been inconsistent at some point except UK. And we worry that the inconsistent off night can raise its ugly head at any time.

And I would love to see UT take another shot at Miss St, this time with Stokes. However, playing and beating Vandy again would be another top 50 win, so playing Vandy again is probably better for UT's overall chances for an at large bid.

I think UT is in if they make it to the championship game. I don't know if one tourney win gets the job done at this point.

Ole Miss is pretty good. They punched us square in the mouth at TBA. Went up 15-2 if I remember before we decided to start playing. If they do that away from TBA, could be a different outcome. Definitely can't overlook OM, they still have a great shot at reaching the tourney if they end up in the finals.

I think we win one and lose in the Semi's. I hope that's wrong but I think it's going to be enough to barely get us in.
